Aerial view of the Papagayo beaches and coves in the south of Lanzarote

Yacht charter in Lanzarote

A crewed yacht from Puerto Calero or Marina Rubicón, to the Papagayo coves and beyond.

Cast off from Marina Rubicón in the morning and the Papagayo coves are only minutes away: pale sand, black rock and water so clear you can see your shadow on the seabed. Lunch is served at anchor, the afternoon belongs to swimming and reading on deck, and the crew takes care of everything in between.

Questions

Yacht charter in Lanzarote, answered.

How much does a yacht charter cost in Lanzarote?

It depends on the size of the yacht, the length of the charter and the season. Every charter is quoted in full before you confirm, with crew, fuel, food and drink set out line by line, so the price you agree is the price you pay. Sending a request costs nothing.

Where do yacht charters leave from in Lanzarote?

Most leave from Marina Rubicón in Playa Blanca, closest to the Papagayo coves, or from Puerto Calero. Charters from Marina Lanzarote in Arrecife suit guests staying in the east and north.

Can we sail from Lanzarote to Lobos or Fuerteventura?

Yes. Lobos and the north of Fuerteventura are a short crossing from Playa Blanca. The captain picks a calm day for it, and any permit needed for Lobos is arranged for you.

Can we take a yacht to La Graciosa?

Yes, on a longer day. La Graciosa lies off the north of the island, inside a protected marine reserve, so the route and anchorages follow its rules. The captain will advise on the best day to go.

Do I need a boating licence to charter a yacht?

No. Every charter we arrange comes with a licensed captain and crew, so you only need to enjoy the day.

Can you book a yacht charter at short notice?

Often, yes: a boat for tomorrow is usually possible outside the busiest weeks. For Christmas, Easter and the summer holidays, tell us your dates as early as you can.
